I am trying to fit some T1 frigates to learn pvp. In my research I have learned that rockets are a good choice for frigates that intend to pvp at close range, but I can't figure out what type of rocket to fit.
I know that each of the 4 damage types affect hull/shields/armor in different ways, but how do I decide which to fit? Not knowing who I'll run into it, it's impossible to optimize for my opponent.. should I just fit one of each type? Or all of one type?

Ok, so nevermind... I was planning to sell a PLEX to fund my pvp ventures, but I just had my ship destroyed and plex looted outside of Jita.
I mean, I know that sort of thing can happen, but I am a bit miffed :(
Guess it was foolish to transport it looking for a better price? On the brightside, it sparked a crazy battle as people fought over it and concord showed up lol.
Guess I need to mine for... a long time.. before i can put any advice on pvp to use. |

yes, yes you were.
But I have gone to and from that system a lot in the last few days with no problems; I figured the risk was acceptable as I had never ran into a problem before.
Were people somehow able to detect I had a plex onboard? And if so, how? |

Sigh.
Have done a ton of research about the game but I missed that bit of info.
Cannot afford to buy more plex, as I already paid for a long-term sub. Have barely enough to buy a decent mining ship, but is gonna take weeks to earn enough to pvp... and I don't dare take my Heron to lowsec to earn money through scanning because if I lose that, I cant replace it.

Eh if I wanted to grind through unimaginative pve content I'd still be playing WoW :)

sorry, but good riddance. Hell, I can't even remember how often I said it and how often I read it from other people how to do it.
If you then still figure that....ooh, nobody will sacrifice a ship about 100mil tops to gank me with my 800+ mil cargo, your logic is massively flawed.
You can continue:
A. As Ralph said, do the damn tutorial. they are for new players to get them going in EVE. And they give you free ships, skills and modules and a good bunch of ISK.
B. Unsub to you can buy another plex and lose that in a ridiculous fashion, so we can laugh again.
Guess, which of the 2 is the better choice, both in terms of logic aswel as making you a better player.

It's not like I"m crying or complaining about it, so there's no need to show up and get nasty about it. You can probably find a better use of your time then looking for people to insult on the forums.
It's people like you that make games like this - and the internet in general - unpleasant.
